This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application "IPTV Viewer – Live Channels" (the "App"), developed and provided by DEVVVS ("we", "us", or "our").

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information when you use our App. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Important: IPTV Viewer – Live Channels is a media player only. It does not provide, host, sell, or include any channels, playlists, streams, or media content. To watch anything, you must add your own playlists (such as M3U / M3U8 links or Xtream Codes credentials) that you legally own or are authorized to use. You are solely responsible for the content you load and play.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of data:

Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), IP address, and language settings.
Playlist & configuration data: the playlist URLs (M3U / M3U8), Xtream Codes server addresses, usernames, and channel/favorite preferences that you add. This information is stored locally on your device so the App can load your streams. We do not upload, sell, or share your playlist credentials with us or third parties.
Network information: the App connects to the internet to load and play the streams from the servers defined in your own playlists.
Usage data: features used, session duration, playback events, and crash reports — used solely for improving app performance.
Advertising data: data collected by Google AdMob (advertising ID, device info) to serve relevant advertisements.
Payment data: managed entirely by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not store or process your payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

Load, parse, and play the playlists and live streams that you add to the App.
Save your channels, favorites, and playback preferences on your device.
Diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
Display advertisements via Google AdMob.
Process in-app purchases and manage subscription entitlements.
Comply with legal obligations.

4. Content & Playlists

The App is a player that reads playlists you provide and plays the streams contained in them. We do not operate, control, or have any visibility into the servers, channels, or media that your playlists point to.

Your playlist links, credentials, and preferences are stored locally on your device. They are sent only to the stream servers you configured, for the purpose of playback. We do not collect or retain copies of this data on our servers.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to access and view any content you add to the App. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any third-party content played through the App.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Our App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your consent preferences.

To limit personalized advertising:

Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off Personalized Ads.

6. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Our App offers optional premium subscriptions that remove ads and unlock additional player features. Subscriptions are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your store account settings.
Refunds are subject to Google Play or Apple's refund policies.

7. Third-Party Services

Our App may integrate with the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Google AdMob – advertising
Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit – payment processing
Firebase Crashlytics – crash reporting (if enabled)

Note: any IPTV servers or stream providers referenced by your own playlists are independent third parties. Their handling of your data is governed by their own policies, not this one.

8. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for app functionality, legal compliance, or legitimate business purposes. Crash logs and analytics are typically retained for no longer than 12 months. Your playlists and preferences remain on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the App. You may request deletion of any data we hold at any time (see Section 9).

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

10. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
